"Finally a platform that understands the Caribbean. I connected with a specialist in Barbados for a complex referral in minutes — this would have taken days before."

Common questions

Everything you need to know before joining DocReach.

When you register, you provide your professional license number. Our team cross-references this with the relevant CARICOM medical council registry (e.g. Jamaica Medical Council, T&T Medical Board, Barbados Medical Council). Verification typically completes within 48 hours, and your profile receives a verified badge once confirmed.
DocReach supports all 15 full CARICOM member states: Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, Belize, The Bahamas, Haiti, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Dominica, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Suriname, and Montserrat.
Yes. All messages on DocReach are end-to-end encrypted. Only the sender and recipient can read message contents. This makes DocReach suitable for discussing patient referrals and clinical information between verified providers.
We import publicly available registry data to create stub profiles for providers who haven't joined yet. If you find your name already listed, click "Claim this profile" and follow the 3-step verification. It takes under 2 minutes and requires no documents — we match your license number against the medical council registry automatically.
Yes, DocReach is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. Simply visit the site in your mobile browser. A dedicated iOS and Android app is on our roadmap.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. If you cancel a paid plan, your profile remains active on the Free plan. Caribbean healthcare professionals deserve flexibility — we don't lock you in.

About DocReach

Building the professional network the Caribbean deserves

DocReach is a professional network built specifically for healthcare providers across all 15 CARICOM nations. Our mission is to reduce the friction in finding, verifying, and connecting with colleagues across islands — so patient referrals move faster, locum placements happen in hours instead of weeks, and every Caribbean clinician has a verified professional presence.

Why we exist

Healthcare professionals across CARICOM have long relied on informal networks — WhatsApp groups, personal referrals, and institutional directories that are years out of date — to find and verify colleagues. A patient referred from Kingston to Port of Spain for specialist care might wait weeks for a name, a number, and a confirmation that the practitioner's licence is still active. DocReach replaces that with a verified, searchable, always-current directory connected to each island's medical council.

The team

DocReach was founded by a team with roots across Jamaica, Trinidad, and Barbados, combining healthcare operations experience with software engineering. We are headquartered in the Caribbean and built this platform for ourselves first — the problems we are solving are problems we have lived.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create a DocReach account, we collect your name, professional email address, phone number (optional), licence number, profession, specialty, and island/nation. If you upload a profile photo, we store it. When you use the messaging feature, we store message content in encrypted form. We do not collect patient data.

2. How we use it

Your profile information is used to create your public directory listing. We use your licence number solely for credential verification against the relevant CARICOM medical council registry. Your email address is used to send verification codes, account notices, and (with your consent) product updates. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

3. Who can see your profile

Your name, specialty, institution, island, and verification status are publicly visible in the directory. Your contact email, phone number, and full licence details are visible only to other verified DocReach members. Unclaimed profiles show limited information until claimed.

4. Messaging

Messages sent through DocReach are end-to-end encrypted. DocReach staff cannot read message content. Messages are stored on our servers for message-thread continuity and are deleted 24 months after the conversation ends, or earlier upon request.

5. Data retention

You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@docreach.health. Upon deletion, your profile is removed from the directory within 48 hours. Encrypted message records are purged within 30 days.

6. Security

All data is stored on servers in the United States (Railway.app infrastructure). We use TLS for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for sensitive fields at rest. We undergo periodic security reviews.

Legal

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026. Please obtain legal sign-off on this text before public launch.

1. Who may use DocReach

DocReach is a professional platform for licensed healthcare providers in CARICOM member states. By registering, you confirm that you hold an active licence from a recognised regional medical, nursing, dental, or allied health council, and that the information you submit is accurate and your own.

2. Credential verification

You authorise DocReach to cross-reference your submitted licence number against the public registry of the relevant CARICOM council. Submitting false credential information is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant medical authority.

3. Profile accuracy

You are responsible for keeping your profile current. If your licence lapses, your specialty changes, or you cease practice, you must update your DocReach profile within 30 days. DocReach periodically re-verifies credentials and may remove the verified badge or deactivate a profile if a licence cannot be confirmed.

4. Messaging

DocReach messaging is intended for professional communication between verified healthcare providers — referrals, consultations, and collegial contact. It must not be used for direct patient-facing care, patient data transfer, or commercial solicitation unrelated to healthcare. Abuse, harassment, or spam is grounds for account termination.

5. Unclaimed profiles

DocReach creates stub profiles from publicly available registry data. If you find a profile bearing your name and wish to claim or remove it, contact hello@docreach.health.

6. Limitation of liability

DocReach is a directory and communication platform, not a medical authority. Verification confirms public-registry licence status only. DocReach accepts no liability for clinical decisions made based on information found on the platform.

7. Changes to these terms

We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes to these terms take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
